9 weeks left until graduation and 13 days until I get to go to Florida to see Kim! The time is literally flying by. This weekend ins SLADS, the dressage show in Lake St. Louis. I chose to forgo riding in this show due to finances but will be riding in the schooling show at WWU as well as the Pierre St. Jacques clinic here at school. The weeks are filled with trying to enjoy the last of the beautiful weather before winter hits and cramming in schoolwork whenever possible. I have decided to postpone the job in PA. although they have asked me to consider joining them in 2012 to help with integrating their riding program into a charter school. In the meantime I plan to head back to STL after graduation and train a few horses, get my liscense and a car, and fit in some teaching at CHA clinics. Then I will either head back to NY, to PA, or possibly somewhere else entirely. First things first though will be organizing my past that is in STL. Having never really been home since before middle school, there is a lot of organizing today, anbd strangley I can't wait! Time to get back to class, hope this entry finds all of my friends well!

And the Countdown continues...
Less than 13 weeks left in the semester. I must admit it actually seems to be flying by. With hours of homework, lessons to teach, horses to ride, and of course getting into trouble while out and about, I have been very busy. Although I really miss dance company, it has been nice to have less things to stress about, and slightly more time in my hectic schedule. I was offered a possible job in PA. and although it is the opposite direction that I had previously wished to work, i find myself considering the offer as it is a good position. With around 91 days left in the semester I find myself starting to panic more and more about all that needs to be done before I graduate. Driving,Cars,Jobs,Housing....is all too much to think about when all I long to do is enjoy the final semester of my academic career. Forgetting the important things though is impossible and I find myself drowning in lists of tasks with ever approaching due dates. Although filled with things that need to be discussed I find myself drawing this report to a close as I am to mentally exhausted to pull the information from my over exhausted brain.

And so the countdown begins...
Back at WWU for one final semester . . .only 103 days to go! Returning back to school was strange as I came back once classes had already begun. The day I returned the weather was very hot and it was a trial just to unload and unpack a few suitcases and boxes. After leaving the NY weather where it was in the 50’s at night with a high of 75 to 80 during the day, 100 degrees plus was insane. I ran into a few old friends and briefly caught up with them about our summers, but I still wasn’t mentally ready to embrace being back. True to typical fashion, Meghan and I went out to Bek’s to catch up over a glass of wine. We commiserated over our shared animosity towards WWU and our great desire to be elsewhere. The first few days of classes have passed in a blur and nothing seems unmanageable. The best moments of course have taken place at the barn catching up with horsey friends, and getting to ride the Fresian Corey in class. He is a different ride, and will be a challenge, but it will be a good learning experience. Currently sitting in English class, already finished with the days assignment, and clearly making good use of my time. Since WWU is celebrating Labor Day, one of the few holiday’s it observes, we are class free this coming Monday. Hoping to return home for the weekend to pack a few more things and just relax after not being home since Christmas break. Still missing friends from NY, and not entirely enjoying school but trying to make the best of the situation and observe as much horsey knowledge as possible.
